Dad + Son is a minimalist 2D platformer game where you control two characters (Dad and Son) at the same time.

You can control the two characters with WASD and arrow keys.

Theoretically it can also be played by two different players, but the main idea was that you need to care about both characters.

The game is inspired by indie classics like "Thomas was Alone" and "Brothers: A Tale of two Sons" and it was made during the Global Game Jam 2022 in Cagliari, Italy.

I found a bug... If you put Dad & Son against a wall with Dad on top of Son and make Son jump, he just can't jump anymore, even if you move him away.

Thanks for playing and letting me know about the bug! Unfortunately it's a known bug, I never managed to fix it at that time ^^'
I know it's quite annoying, but when it happens, you can reset the scene by pressing R (or, if you manage to make the character below land on a new floor, the problem disappears).
